This was a photo of a large cinnamon orange colored lily that bloomed in my yard a few years ago. It was approximately 8 inches across petal tip to tip. I did some digital altering to bring it into a graphic image close up focus and gave it a somewhat textured watercolor feel. The light center brings the focus into the depth of the flowers bloom. It is so sad that they only last one day.
Denise Beverly is a photographer, digital artist and surface pattern designer living in the beautiful mountain area of East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
